Canada beats the USA 4-1 advance to finals

Three-time defending champion Canada beat the United States 4-1 on Friday and will face Sweden in the final of the world junior hockey championships.

Five-time Grand Slam champion Martina Hingis was banned from tennis for two years and, perhaps of more significance, her reputation was tarnished Friday, when it was announced she was found guilty of testing positive for cocaine at the All England Club.
A three-person, independent tribunal flatly rejected Hingis' defense, calling it "a simple and straightforward case." She can appeal the ruling, but her manager said she won't.

this is disappointing because she was a great competitor that was unbeatable for a moment in time. I hope for the best for her and hopes she gets help but man now i have to second guess all athletes that say "i don't do drugs, steriods, etc".

Bridget-

This definitely is extremely disapointing findings that Hingis was using drugs at Wimbledon last year. Personally I was always a fan of Hingis even though she didn't have the pop that all the top players of her time like Capriati and Davenport she had a masterful all court game with finesse and drop shots. Her serve was pretty lightweight but she made up for it with her movement and her thinking out on the court. It's nice to see someone win Slams who isn't killing the ball everytime. She wasn't afraid to say what she thought either which I think got her into trouble a little but that's okay. I just think it's sad that a 5 time champion who is still young for tennis and could as we saw from her comeback have success still make such a tragic lapse in judgement. It makes me appreciate the women like Serena and Sharapova who handle the attention and success with such maturity and composure and are good role models for young women.

Hingis is kinda hot, I would't mind parting with her!

If I see her at a club, I'm going to buy her a cocktail!

This again shows the gap between the USA and the rest of the world in Hockey. We have not kept up and have become a sub-par nation in Hockey. The defeat of the under-21 club shows the that gap is going to continue into the future.
